sorry, totally staged.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Floyd_Mayweather

Mayweather appeared at World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE)'s No Way Out pay-per-view on February 17, 2008 in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he was involved in a storyline physical altercation with Big Show, after Mayweather jumped a security barricade and attacked him with a punching combination, in an attempt to help Rey Mysterio, whom Show threatened to chokeslam.[25] The attack resulted in Big Show receiving a broken nose, reportedly not part of the storyline. The following night on Raw, Big Show challenged Mayweather to a one on one match at WrestleMania XXIV, which Mayweather accepted. Mayweather defeated Big Show at WrestleMania XXIV by knockout, after hitting Big Show in the jaw with brass knuckles. [2]

yeah... after it happened they referred to it as a "troll" or something - some weird wrestling codeword for something that is 100% staged but is made to look like a totally random event.

ah wait, here it is "kayfabe".

yup. but don't let me saying "ha ha suckers" spoil your fun. it was pretty exciting to watch faux david meets faux goliath. the dudes probably went for beers afterwards.

The worked fee was 20 million, but in reality he only got about 2.

It's show-biz, but a lot of the bumps are real - and those guys are mad enough to risk serious injury to put on an exciting show.

Even the fans take risks - over 30 were hurt by a malfunction in the $300,000 worth of pyrotechnics used to heighten the spectacle of the event.

Of course, they weren't paid to risk getting hurt - so they'll need to be compensated after-the-fact by lawsuits.

They'll probably show WrestleMania 24 on Korean cable next week, but it's not quite as entertaining without the humorous, over-the-top commentary in English.
