I'm going back to the bando but I keep getting conflicting reports about what I need to send to Korea... is this correct
Copy of my degree (apostilised and stamped by the FCO or does it?)
Sealed transcripts
Basic Disclosure (apostilsed)
Self evaluation medical report (does this need apostilising?)
My resume
Is there anything else, I have read I need to send two written references
and in other places I have read this is not necesarry... my head is getting done in! Somebody please help!
And before anyone starts slagging me off... I'd help you if you were in the shit! |

I'm hearing different reports about the type of criminal check. Someone, in another post, mentioned the entry requirements stipulate a full-disclosure although, I can't say for sure.
Of course, you'll still need one of these.
*Edit* Think the two references still stand. |

BK, How's trix? I'll do my best to offer some advice.
That list seems about right:
*The resume shouldn't be a problem.
*As with the transcripts because they're sealed, your uni can do these within a couple of weeks.
*If you haven't got the crim check you should be able to get a quicker one from the Scotland. Which only takes 14 days.

Then apostilised (not sure about how you go about this, I was pre-regulations)
*If you need two reference letters. Use somebody that you used to work for and you're still matey with, write the letter yourself and sign it from them. Your reference should be ok with that, put their details so if they need to be contacted then they can. BUT I very much doubt they will be. I used my CELTA write-up and gave my tutors as the other reference.
*The EPIK site says:
| Quote: |
A copy of your diploma
* show the original diploma at the Korean Consulate/Embassy |
Although the GEPIK says:
| Quote: |
| Original diploma or notarized (from your local Korean Consulate) copy. |
If you're applying direct with either of them I'd check exactly what.
Sorry I've probably confused you more here BK. Good Luck! I seem to remember a couple of Korean ladies wandering around asking where you'd disappeared to. |
