I spoke to Wenise who was predictably brief and to the point.
She said I need to give 60 days notice and she said she told my recruiter it was not good business practice to ask me to sign with another school without 60 days notice.
She didn't mention any blacklist, mainly because the call was so short, and she wanted it to be very brief.
She mentioned I need to agree with my school to leave. |

60 days is ridiculous when everywhere else is 30 days. Give your 60 days. If your school hates you then they'll just tell you not to come in anymore.
Why not just get GEPIK to send you to a different school? It has been done before. One person is unhappy at their current school and after enough bitching, GEPIK transfers them to a different school. |

You forgot that fromtheuk doesn't have any logic. I think he's staying at his school so he can keep us updated on his daily bs |

So you are trying to tell us that if we want to finish our one year contract at exactly one year we must give 60 days notice saying that we want to finish.
If we don't then what? Jail.
BTW - you are not real. |

I told my co-teacher a bit earlier, to tell the P. I will not sign a contract if it is different to the original, because I agreed to renew the contract believing it would be the same one. She said she'll ask to speak to him on Monday. |

Then let me say she's an idiot. If you only have 30 days left on your contract, there's no way to give 60 days notice. If you don't want to renew, they can't force you to renew. Just wait until the contract is up and go to another school. There's not a damn thing she can do to stop you, notice given or not. Just leave when the contract is up. What are they going to do, blacklist you for finishing a contract? |
