I just want to brainstorm and network a bit.
Do you have an idea for a business here in Korea? Whether it be a bar, restaurant, hagwon, import/export business or anything else?
I have experience opening and running a business here in Korea and I'm looking to open another.
Do you have skills or experience back home that you think could be used to build a business here but you just dont have the connections or capital or know where to start? Then post here or PM me and lets chat.
Even if you dont want to do it what do you think would succeed in Korea? |

I once had some business dealings with a guy from Nigeria. It didn't end well for me. |

Why not try your hand at bottom polishing?
It obviously only has 'niche' market potential. |

As far as I know, there is not really any (or at least not many) good vegetarian restaurants. And "well-being" food is all the rage now, so I think it could catch on. |

In Taiwan I saw a Korean food stall in a food market that had street Bibimbap in paper bowls. This would definitely be a winner in korea. |

What about a whorehouse of some sort. That kind of thing could catch on here. |

My Perfect Business Plan
----------------------------------------------------------
1: I will start a dating service for Korean housewives. Romance available by the hour. Hire some good looking russian (any country will do) men to service them.
2: I will charge the Russian men a fee to come over to Korea with the promise that they can meet rich Korean housewives (to marry). The Russian men have to pay off the fee which comes out of their salary every month.
3: My photographer will take pictures "accidently" when the wives are in a situation. I will then sell the pictures and information to the husbands who are interested in divorcing their wives easily.
*** Watch me Dance on SBS in a few months. I will be the guy with his jacket over his head.
Ps: I AM JOKING ABOUT THE PLAN....MAYBE |

The fact that you ask people on this board for biz ideas speaks volumes. |

who knows where a next great business idea will come from...
inaction and trying (and planning and preparing and getting ready) to be perfect are the biggest obstacles to getting things done...
as my favorite marketing guru Seth Godin says "Make something happen!" |
