Funny moment in Twin Peaks I saw recently..
Agent Cooper is dying and thinks about life..

"I would like just one more day to lie in the warm sun and smell the grass..
I'd like to make love to a beautiful spouse..............
and I'd like to see a free Tibet."

For once I get the David Lynch joke.

What do these people know about Tibet?

You have to understand these issue-huggers..it's all about ME...they don't really care about these issues, it's just how they want themselves to be perceived by others of their group. These people are way boring to talk to, as well.

you have to understand being spliff. it's all about him/her illustrating "i MAY be a mod, but even when i'm not, i'm an obese computer user and need to be punched about my face chest neck and head."

i need to ask - spliff - why do you bother? it's obvious that either 1. you are a mod who occasionally gets his jollies being contrary in threads here and there or 2. you're a giant moron who enjoys being a giant moron.

i can't decide which. i'm drunk. your posts have about as much relevance as your avatar's hairline.

Yes, order your t-shirt now. I guess the one you have been wearing has worn out.

It was probably the one that said "Save the Burmese Monks" or "Stop the African genocide".

After the Olympics I am pretty sure the t-shirt will go in the dust bin, back of the closet, or used to play rugby on Saturday. And you will have to watch MTV to find out who to care about next year

Extremely sad, but unfortunately true.

what is the root of the "tibet is part of china" argument?

last i heard it was some royal wedding that happened during kublai khan's reign.

anyone have anything that has any relevance?

i'm serious here, i'm not trying to be a prat.
i always thought China invaded Tibet. That's normally how they expanded. Invade, take land, call it their own

I'm not overweight in the least...I'm a gym freak... Razz

I gather you are not a good discerner, you only see black and white and have no perception for the gray. Don't worry you're not alone on this board.
