Taking a trip to Busan and I've never been... What is good to do/see over there and how can I book it and find it? Any ideas? Great thanks! |

I think that the most popular beach, Haeundae, is overrated, but we were there on an overcast day and couldn't even get into the ocean. The hotels there are pricier, so I would recommend staying elsewhere and if you need to, popping into one of the many suanas along the main drag. There are a lot of the bigger, fancier hotels that you may be used to in other parts of Korea.
I would also recommend visiting Jagalchi Fish Market.
Actually, in trying to remember the spelling of both places, I was on the wikipedia site and they had lots of great information about the basics.

Have fun! It'll seem pretty easy to navigate after being in Seoul because it's so much smaller. |

Nampo Dong, Somyeon and Haeundae. I forget the area where the Pusan National University is called but there are bars aplenty. Or, if you are lazy go straight to Texas Street across from Busan Station |

The hotels around Haeundae aren't THAT pricey. 45,000 per night or so (some a little less and some a little more).
Does anyone know the name of the indoor skiing/snowboarding place? I caught a glimpse of it last weekend as I went through the tunnel under the moutain that it is on. I want to know what to tell a taxi driver the next time I go back. Any info on pricing and such would be apprciated, too.
Thanks. |
