I was offered a job at public high school in Gyeonggi. The recruiter sent me the contract. The contract is not a GEPIK contract. Is this a red flag?

Maybe you were told wrong. It could be a private high school. Anything else strange about what you're reading in the contract and what's being communicated to you by your recruiter?

The contract is not as detailed as EPIK, GEPIK contracts. And I think the recruiter got the name of the school wrong.

Then don't sign it.

If it is a public school in Gyeonggi province, insist on the GEPIK contract.

The last thing you want is some dodgy recruiter doing a bait and switch with a hakwon or a subcontracted afterschool gig.
