A buddy of mine was telling me about a bar at the British Embassy for expats that is open on Friday nights.
Can anyone tell me any info on it. Where is it?, What's it like? Is there good beer there? Can I bring friends? etc

I didn't notice one when I was there last year........
But the Brits there seemed liked arrogant, upper class, public school educated tossers (staff) not sure if drinking with them would be my cup of tea. Even the Koreans working there were arse holes.
The security guards were very polite and nice though......... |

The bar is in the embassy grounds, so requires forward planning to get through the security into the building.
Run like a private club - members or by invitation only.
Been once, nothing special.
Foreign correspondents club is much better!

Go to the Somerset Palace in Seoul. This is the home of all staff at the British Embassy. It is a hotel but they also have accommodation for Governmental Staff. There is a bar at the hotel/residency and you can see a lot of British around there. |
