Reading around, it seems a sealed transcript is necessary for a E2 visa. What does that mean?

Will I get rejected for bad grades, or be treated like a nobody by the sponsor school? Or is it just to confirm my status as a degree holding graduate?

Thank you in advance~

Buddy, they just want to know you graduated from a university. They just want someone with a US, Canada, Irish, English, or South African passport to smile, teach classes, and to have a diploma. Whether you have a 4.0 and honours or a 2.4 doesn't really matter. Did you graduate or not? There is a shortage of teachers, and they are not picky. You are the one who can afford to be picky. Before you take a job offer, slick, thinking you might not be worth it, let people know what you've been offered, and maybe the veterans of Dave's ESL can give you their input and tell you what's good and what's not good. You sound very nice, and you will be heading in some ways into Dodge, so make sure you know what's up around here.. They want it sealed, beause they are supposed to be sealed and some Americans and Canadians have had doctored degrees and worked illegaly. That's why.

Good luck!
