I was reading one messageboard and some Japanese girls were commenting on this. They said that while many Japanese girls have too many teeth for a the size of their jaws, it is a sign of beauty in their culture. In contrast, many western women are obese (over 30% of the population and growing, they said). The Japanese girls said they would much rather be slim with crooked teeth than be fat with perfect teeth.

Sometimes the whole snaggletooth thing can be cute, but in moderation. The longer I'm in Korea, the less I care about jacked up teeth. I guess you just get used to certain things.

Beauty comes in all styles.
