I'm early this year. Korea gets hot, fast. I started wearing a t-shirt on Monday and don't plan on wearing anything long sleeved until October. I'm always among the first to get the t-shirts out, as half my students and other foreigners are still wearing jackets and/or sweaters.

When does everyone else start?

I hear you. I work in public school and have to wear socks all the time. When I worked at a hogwon the socks came off in March and didn't go back on until October or November. My feet are boiling.

I started biking to school this week too. Yay!

I started wearing T-shirts under my jacket a couple of months ago on the weekend. Last school was too cold to wear during the week.

This school is very warm, more so in the winter, so I always wear short-sleeve shirts. I now wear my light trousers and summer jacket, along with slippers/sandals.
(I see other teachers not so suited these days, perhaps it's a winter thing.)

I am trying to acclimatize a little bit. This winter I wore lots of clothing when i didn't need and I have been wearing extra just enough so I don't get too hot. That and with the weight I've lost hopefully I can survive this next Korean summer a lot better than the last one.

Just tonight (Wed) I realized it's t-shirt weather. The last week or so I've just carried my jacket. Not tonight. Freedom!

Just think, I came from Toronto area which was -20c and had a permanent 5 feet of snow in late March to pleasant weather and open windows at night here.

We're doing seasons in my grade 6 class and they keep saying, "It's too cold in winter. Too much snow!" HA!

I wear tshirts all year long, although obviously not for work. For work I have the short sleeve dress shirts.
