What gives?

I have been here for a while now, and I dont get it.

People seem to be so rude!!! They make noise when eating!!!! I have tried glaring at them, and all sorts of things but they seem unaware that my superior set of manners is the international standard.

Some bosses here are petty, rude and tyrannical!!! This would never happen back home, though I havent really had a job before.

I sometimes get my classes canceled. I mean, what am I meant to do with my time when that happens?

Lots of people here dont speak English. What is with that? I mean even the immigrants in my country spoke English. And Korean? I just cant understand any of it, and when I try to speak it, everybody deliberately does not understand me!!!!

The food? Dont get me started on the food. How can they make food that is so different from real food?

But my biggest gripe is the glasses of water. Every time, with no exceptions, every single glass is half empty!!!!!

When ignorant turds are coming towards me on the sidewalk near euljiro-3 and they have no intention of moving even though there is room, I wai as long as possible before getting my elbow out, Mark Messier style-I suggest you try it, if not for you, but the sake of the Korean children.

If i won't think of the Korean children, Homer, who will?

mnhnhyouh, you've been around enough to know the difference between a creative troll and a mundane troll.

Further, they drive on the wrong side of the road. Back home they drive on the left, and they do in Japan as well.

After I moved here, they should have changed to drive on the left, anything less is just being rude, and shows that this nation is full of xenophobic peasants.

Why do you "wai" people in Korea, especially those you perceive are being rude to you?

Guess what, you're not back home.

You, sir, are spot on! Why is it that Korea isn't exactly the same as my country of origin!?

To add to your list of righteous complaints, I'd like to add: what's with everyone being Korean here? Even my podunk city had blacks and latinos! Don't they get tired of all the black hair and high cheekbones!?

I think the large number of Koreans in this country is proof-positive of their racism. If this was truly pluralistic, they would have children with other ethnicities, or import people to procreate with.

AND they like kimchi! Somebody PLEASE LAUGH! PLEASE LAUGH AT THIS STUPID TRITE F****** JOKE!

The recent southparks have been below par . Let's not reinforce the trend for Trey and Mat with false praise .

Crusher_of_heads . You keep saying that "It's for the children " line . It wasn't even funny the first time , but I admire effort and persevation .

It's bad enough that the glasses are half empty, but they never put more than 2 measly ice cubes in the glass in the summer. What's with that? Too cheap by half! And in the winter, the water is hot. If I wanted hot water I'd ask for a tea bag.

Grrrrr!

No matter how bad it is in Korea. It can't possibly be too much worse than the sh!thole i'm living in now. All these "horrible" things about Korea don't really sound too bad after trying to live around here. At least people aren't getting shot, stabbed, robbed, etc.
