Someone was selling a perfect condition s8000fd (longer zoom, better iso performance) and couldn't even get 250 for it. You may need to drop those prices a bit. Or a lot.

Well, the S8000fd is 274 NEW at Danawa. Maybe that's why he couldn't get 250 for it. The latest Hx model from Sony is 400 at Danawa. But mine comes with a bag, memory card, etc. The silver one looks pretty much like new and the black one ain't bad either. And the H5 has a 3-inch LCD screen, which is huge compared to a 2.5-inch screen.

I'm not in a hurry so I'm going to wait for more offers!

I'm a slow waiter, myself. So if by tomorrow I haven't heard from you then forget my offer.

No, I can't pass up a great offer like that! Where do you live? I'll take your offer! Only for you, spliff! Tell me your phone number so we can arrange our meeting place and time!

I love the logic that people use on here.

You really think that people are stupid enough to pay more for less camera just because the internet price is higher? Then again, given the last thread perhaps they will... Confused

P.S.
Found the H5 for $180 US brand new in the states...

^ ...which is nice and dandy if the prospective buyer was in the States and not in Korea. Smile

Anyway, I agree with you. But it's only natural that people want to get as much money from their stuff as possible.

Yeah, but the point was simply that the Korean price is ridiculously inflated.

And of course people want as much as possible, but it almost seems like the OP is trying to trick people into thinking the value is higher than it is.

And actually, since you brought up the idea (kind of) let's do a quick check. Tax is 15% on items over 150, and shipping be 15-20 bucks. So in theory you could get a new one delivered to your house in Korea for $227. (About 215k won.)

Geez... I said "OR BEST OFFER." Did I say the prices are firm? No, I didn't.

First of all, I don't see what's wrong with my "logic." If you can get a new one for 274 then who's going to spend 250 for a used one? And I listed the price for the H9, which is 400, since the H5 has been discontinued and its price is 480, which is higher. How am I tricking people here??? I guess anybody who buys overpriced Sony digicams is an idiot compared to people who buy Fuji's. Rolling Eyes (Also, I did mention the 3-inch screen which the Fuji doesn't have.)

BTW, do you think shipping to Korea only costs 15-20? You gotta be kidding. And I wonder where you found a new H5. All I can find is used ones. And what about the prices for the bag, batteries/charger, memory card, etc.?
