Always amazes me that these Koreans dress like the afterbirth of the mid 80's.
What is the deal with those polyester shiny suits as well?
Thanks DanielKim for reminding me of how badly Koreans dress. |

Those Korean, I mean Japanese fashions, are just dandy. Dandy. Swell. Nothing gets the ladies wet like a long scarf and over-sized purse. Go f*ck yerself. Just because. |

Ooooh, hit a nerve there didn't we.
Well first of all I didn't start a thread with the sole purpose of attempting to make the suggestion that Korean (it's not really Korean, but borrowed from other places) fashion is greater than waygook fashion.
It's laughable too because those are seriously the kind of outfits that my gay friends wear.
Perhaps the Koreans like that style. Fine by me, it's just funny how cultural differences look at clothing. That's mearly the point I'm trying to make.
In Korean it is perfectly acceptable for a "straight" man to wear tight pants, a pink or floral shirt, a man purse, and a perm.
In North America it is perfectly acceptable for a gay man to do the same. If a "straight" man wore these clothes however, he'd either be laughed at, beaten up, or exposed for being GAY! |

That may be the point you are trying to make, but you are making it by attacking another man's masculinity.
Perhaps well dressed Koreans who wear whatever they like make you feel insecure, so you attack them as looking gay.
I hate the attitude that a lot of foreign guys here have:
"Oh, we're so much more manly than Koreans/is he male or female?/ pink shirt, hahaha"
Why is it that you have to attack the OP's personal appearance?
Again, show us what a big man you are, and post your own photos.
Also, I see guys at home wearing skinny jeans, pink shirts, man bags, and with elaborate haircuts all the time. What hick town are you from? |

Where's back home exactly?
And I'm definately not from no hick town. But if your from Canada or the States (I'm not to sure about those Europeans) then you know that any man wearing skinny jeans, pink shirts, man bags, and with elaborate haircuts would likely be at leat initially though of as gay.
Not that there's nothing wrong with that, but those kind of fashion choices in North American culture are recognized as gay or at least metrosexual (which isn't gay, but still laughed at by many guys).
You SamD obviously never were active in sports, or into rock or hip hop music.
Listen dude, you're entitled to your opinion and I'm entitled to mine. But I firmly believe no self respecting straight man should be caught dead in skinny jeans, pink shirts, man bags, and with elaborate haircuts.
And I can guarntee you that there are a lot of Western women who feel the same way. So don't put all your hate on these supposed "macho" guys. |

I think that says more about your culture than anything else endo.
but i think this thread is stupid anyway...simply because he is comparing apples and oranges..there are lots of koreans lacking style...i could find bad pics of korean fashion and compare them to the fashion in london clubs or something... |

Who was it that put danielkim's quote into quotations on his last thread? That thread's gone now. The quote said he was finished posting this funny, but pointless garbage.
danielkim, I liked it better when you told me you were interested in Billy Ray Cyrus after I recommended his music. |

By "your culture" do you mean my own personal view. If so, yeah I guess so.
But like I said I've heard Western females make the same comments I have made on this thread. I also have a gay friend who jokes that his gaydar is way off in this country.
This guy is flaming (hell of a guy) and he even makes snide comments about how many Korean males dress.
It's strange because Western culture is for the most part a lot more open to homosexuality than it is in Korea. |

No, i meant your culture as in the culture you belong to. I dont know where you are from but it seems like the US?
I was referring more to the treatment of people who dress differently in your home country than to the koreans.
Personally I think korean guys dress better than british guys..on the whole...and korean girls blow british girls out of the water...but saying that, it depends where you go..and you can find exceptions to the rule everywere. |
