I'm having my CRC sent from Canada tomorrow for my next job. I checked into getting it apostilled, so I called the Canadian Consulate in Busan and they told me I could simply have it stamped by the Canadian Embassy in Seoul instead of having it apostilled at home.

I would've called the Canadian Embassy in Seoul, but the phone number on their website is wrong.

Can anyone confirm this? Does it work? It's no problem for me to get more CRCs up here, but I'd rather get it right the first time.

**Edit, I see there is a sticky on this. I'd still like to call the Canadian embassy to verify, so could anyone tell me the embassy's correct phone number? The one on the Canadian Embassy in Seoul's website is wrong.

I had my CRC sent from Canada, took it to the Canadian Consulate in Busan, paid 40 000W for the stamp, and got my new E2 visa no prob.

As an aside... we need our medicals done before we even apply for the E2 Visa. Not really a big deal, but I can't remember if that's been mentionned before. The medical is required as well as a CRC to even apply for an E2.
