I have been told around 7-10 working days ... But I guess it does depend on volume of work / holidays and other things just how long it takes .... I would expect not much past 2 weeks ... But I don't know how the new processes have delayed things ... I am in the middle of it at the moment so I don't know how long it will end up taking ... Mine was applied for the start of last week and they seem to be expecting to get it back late this week or early next week ... I will just have to wait and see ... I am just working on the basis that this is the likely time frame and then adding on the time to get the visa itself ... I can estimate when I will be leaving and just getting everything here in place so I can move as soon as I can.

I recently went through the process and it took 2 weeks from the day I sent my docs. But, I was issued the wrong number and it took another 5 days for it to be sorted out. Peace.

7-10 working days is about right - longer if there's a holiday in there - we had an election day last week might have slowed things down for you
