Looking to start putting a home theater together next month and I thought I'd check here first to see if anyone has a bargain basement deal for me. Heck, even a fair market value deal, but substantially less than retail. Looking for something large to watch big, loud movies on.

Hi,

I have no TV to sell but only q TV furniture.

Table is grey and dimension are around 85x55 for 50cm hight.
Before, TV 29'' was installed on it, there is glassdoor behind which you can install any playstion/X box or decoder as we did.
You can see it here :

The budget is flexible. I bought a TV a few days ago, but am still looking for sound stuff. I found a floor model 42" LCD TV for 940,000 won. Seemed too good to pass up. If you think I got ripped off keep it to yourself, I'm happy with it. I'm not a particularly savvy shopper, let me harbor the delusion that I did ok this time. Very Happy

OK, I suppose I'd like to keep the sound stuff under 400,000. For used stuff, well under would be good. It would be hard to justify anything more to my girlfriend who doesn't think we need it at all.

Here are some great package deals on Jamo speaker sets. This is where I bought my Paradigms and Marantz receiver yesterday. I think they are a wholesaler. It's where the shops in Ipark were looking on their internet sites to tell me if they had something in stock or not (and were charging a surcharge to sell to me for). I decided to go to the source and cut out the middleman. Keep scrolling down that page for more and more:

Some Yamaha packages:

I want to add something:

You should spring for a just a bit more, and future-proof your system a bit better. This Yamaha receiver/speaker/CD package does HDMI switching (although only up to 1080i):

Thanks for the links and advice. The Jamo stuff looks within my budget, but I would like to spring for the best I can get if I can pull it off. It'll be another month before I can do it. My girlfriend loves her some home shopping so I may be able to interest her if I let her catch me dinking around on gmarket.

Heres a little tip... this may work... or it may not. I ordered the speakers linked above... but the seller did not have them anymore. So because he didn't have them anymore... he upgraded me to this package...

Its a crap shot... but man oh man... it worked for me! Pretty sweet upgrade thats for sure.

If you're interested in saving money on a receiver until you get something better in the future, I will sell you my older Onkyo TXDS-575 and a pair of Inkel bookshelf speakers (I used them as surrounds, and they sound good) for 150,000. This is the receiver I just replaced with the expensive Marantz.

It's 70 watts per channel, and sounds very good. No HDMI, but will do DTS decoding and Dolby Digital.

If he doesn't want that Onkyo... I might just take you up on it! Don't think I need the speakers though buddy...

Let me know!

If you want the Onkyo for 125,000, it's yours. It comes with a remote. Not sure if I have the manual upstairs or not. My model is the 575, not the 575X, but there is little difference:

Oh, it's USA voltage, so you'll need to run with a transformer. I've run it in Korea with one for years with no problem.
