I was just wondering if I'd need to take my Bachelors Diploma to S. Korea if I got my E-2 in Canada.
(i.e. If I went to Korea with an E-2, would I need my bachelors degree, or a notarized copy, in order to get another E-2 after one year -- whether I switched to another job, or not . . . i.e. Visa run to Japan, etc.) |

If you think there is any chance of you changing employers or staying and requiring a new visa then you should either bring the original, uni-issued replacement copy of the original or several embassy certified copies of your degree.
You WILL need it again.

ttompatz,
My original university will issue me "duplicate copies" of my BA diploma. I will bring them to Korea instead of the original diploma. Do they require being notarized at the Consulate in Toronto?
Thanks |

They didn't....
and with that this caveat:
things are in a state of change here with the new government and administration so nothing is written in stone at the moment. |
