Ok, I haven't seen/found any more references: is anyone else interested in a final Get-Together before we all wing out to various home/vacation destinations for the winter vacation?

I like the idea of Song-tan/O-san for Dec 13th, but obviously will throw it wide open (place & dates)for discussion. Besides good accommodations, good eats/drinks, and cheap clubs/bars, there is the pre-holiday shopping orgy to revel in (gifts for self or others).

Regards,

G (& C in absentia)

The Young Chon Hotel is the best one there - about 70,000 for a standard room, up to 200 for the suites. Right in the center of the action.

For poon mongers, the Golden Gate Club is a must (Flips, Russkies and Koreans) but be careful you don't get suckered into buying hundreds of $ worth of drinks for nothing in retuyrn. Negotiate the barfine, specify exactly what you expect from the ho, and have fun.

Daytime shopping is fun, products the same as in Itaewon but a bit cheaper.

The Air Farce GIs have a little more brain than their Army colleagues, but only marginally. MPs (SPs there) have a better grip on them though.

Drinks in bars also cheaper. Bring dollars cuz they'll *beep* ya on the FX rate.

once again, weekend and location are OPEN for discussion. This weekend seems short notice, but do-able; if we wait until the 20th, I don't know who will be left around.

Just lemme know and I'll run with it. Might not be able to stay out late this time, though.

If it were this weekend, however, I'd be totally a go.

I thought you guys had the Osan/song tan gathering last month and the next one was going to be in Seoul? Oh well, I'm on a budget at the mo' and will miss the Osan one, but if anyone wants to hook up in Seoul that weekend, let me know.

I'm another Seoul person that can't be stuffed going out that far. That's why we moved here in the first place.

You're all a bunch of weenies. Every time there's a gathering in Seoul, I'm going to copy and paste your pathetic attempts at excuses and laugh as I save my money and do the same exact thing elsewhere.

South of the rivah!

I have to second Zyz.
"Too far away" in a country the size of a postage stamp with cheap public transport and ubiquitous (as well as cheap) motels isn't much of an excuse...
