This Saturday there will be a tabletop sale starting at 9.30am at the Francicsan School down past the Harley Davidson Shop and Hannam Supermarket. There will be lots of expats selling their things and its a great place to pick up excellent toys, books, kitchen equipment and all sorts of things for great prices. If you have kids its definatley worth the trip.

You need to be more specific, I don't know any of the landmarks you mentioned. And what's an "expat," you mean an expatriot?

Hannam Supermarket is a very well known foreign supermarket near Itaewon, just before the Hannam Bridge, if you are coming from Itaewon, you need to do a U turn at the traffic lights before going onto the bridge.

Expat

An expatriate (in abbreviated form, expat) is a person temporarily or permanently residing in a country and culture other than that of the person's upbringing or legal residence. The word comes from the Latin ex (out of) and patria (country, fatherland), and is sometimes misspelled (either unintentionally or intentionally) as ex-patriot or short ex-pat (because of its pronunciation).

Thanks for the english lesson? You come off as a bit of a doosh, by the way, obviously I know what an expatriot is otherwise I wouldn't have mentioned the word, but I've never heard it abbreviated as "expat."

Thanks for the map, but I don't know where that bridge is or what's on that map. But hey, I live in Itaewon, so I can get a taxi to the market to find out where it is.

You have never heard the term "expat" before? Have you been living in a cave somewhere?

BTW, if by "doosh" you mean "douche" I would say you are the only one in this thread acting like one.

I never mean't for my reply to come off as rude, it was just a simple answer to a simple question, I am sorry that you feel that I was coming across as a douche. I did not suggest that you didn't know what an expatriate was, I was just trying to give you a precise answer, (that is all).By the way, I am not a teacher, I am simply the mother of two children here trying to help out as much as possible by letting people know about these things that aren't always advertised in these forums.
Again, my apologies.

1. he doesn't know what 'expat' means
2. he called the OP, a woman (with an id like"jade", she is most likely female), a "doosh" (his spelling).

He's an idiot and/or a troll. Either way, not worth responding to.

Regardless, the sale sounds like a good idea. Is the Franciscan school the place the Italian club has their Sunday lunches?

I'm not sure about that but I did just find a map on the School website under the contact us section.
