anyone noticed there a british wave,in music and fashion.
i recon they invented punk, miniskirts and many other things.
i saw a vidal sasson hair product in a korean shop the other day.
he was english, before he moved to california, anyway.
i see more and more BBC programes on television, they are brought all around the world.
and, hey, who hasnt heard of the james bond movies?
a lot of girls just cant get enough of british stars like tom jones and little robbie williams.
it goes with out saying the english invented the non-farming smart suit(saville row)

also more and more people are speaking english, even here in korea, the hub of asia.
english was invented by english people, just after we invented the wheel, fire and beer.

soon, asian girls from all over ,will be lining up to date and marry us.

so,whats your fave thing from the english wave?

A drunk American guy asked me about the good things that Britain has given to the US. He managed to come up with Hugh Grant and David Beckham, so there's two more for the list. I wanted to point out that the language he speaks is called English for a reason, but that would have meant sustaining the "conversation".

yes,its true!
hugh grant is a global model and heart-throb.
david beckham is of course half-mexican,but we will have him as one of our own.
Just the other day i was walking with some korean friends and we saw a poster of him in a phone shop.
the foreigner korean girls really liked his look.
i was a bit upset, because he wasnt wearing a shirt, and it made england look poor.

we are not talking about america, please stay on topic.

Well, we started losing out empire soon after 1776 and it all went downhill from then in! The Soviet Union was a better post colonial (our decline coincides with the birth of the evil empire!) nanny state though I reckon the dole money was crap! Razz

I liked the Inca version of social welfare! You didn't get any potatoes or corn unless you could not physically work!

All I'm saying is free money is ten times better than Tom Jones - and I'm Welsh!

BBC is the biz. They produce(d) some quality programming, I particularly enjoy their documentary series such as Planet Earth.
