I'm near Gwangju. Looking for a cheap cell phone... one of those simple pay-as-you-go phones. Or, if anyone has one with a voice recorder and alarm clock, I'll pay more.
Also curious about buying a motorcycle OR a car OR a scooter. I'll probably only be here until November, so my budget is very low. I currently have a valid US driver's license. I've never ridden a motorcycle, but I grew up driving stick and drove a semi-manual motorbike in Thailand for several months.
Just seeing what's out there... thinking about buying a scooter for 350,000, but I figured I'd see if I could spend a little more and get a motorcycle and be one of those tough guy types, or spend even more and be a respectable citizen with a car. Anybody know if you can drive a motorcycle on the interstate?
