Onkyo Home Theater Receiver For Sale
I am selling an Onkyo TX DS-575 Home theater receiver for 125,000 won. I've got two other people who are interested in possibly buying it next week, but if someone is interested in it before then, it's taking up space in my house. I've had it for 8 years, and it has worked beautifully. I just upgraded to a receiver with HDMI inputs costing over 1 million won, so it's time for my tride & true Onkyo to move on to another owner. It comes with a remote. I'm living near Hyewha/Daehangno in central Seoul. I will meet you at my subway station if you come, but no deliveries. No holds. First with cash who either pays in full by bank deposit, or in person gets it. I will not ship.
Amplifier Output Details:
70 Watt - 8 Ohm - 20 - 20000 Hz - THD 0.08% - 1 channel(s) ( center ), 70 Watt - 8 Ohm - 20 - 20000 Hz - THD 0.08% - 2 channel(s) ( front ), 70 Watt - 8 Ohm - 20 - 20000 Hz - THD 0.08% - 2 channel(s) ( rear ), 90 Watt - 6 Ohm - 20 - 20000 Hz - THD 0.1% - 1 channel(s) ( center ), 90 Watt - 6 Ohm - 20 - 20000 Hz - THD 0.1% - 2 channel(s) ( front ), 90 Watt - 6 Ohm - 20 - 20000 Hz - THD 0.1% - 2 channel(s) ( rear )
Color Black
Type of Remote Universal remote control - infrared
Dimensions (W X D X H) 43.5 cm x 39 cm x 17.5 cm
Weight 13 kg
Note: It's USA 110v, and you need a converter to run it. That's what I've been using with no issues for the past 6 years in Korea.
Here is somebody else's photo, but mine looks about perfect, so this is just to show what it looks like:

no disrespect, but shouldnt that be in a museum?
was an ok bit of kit in the stone age,but its 5.1 max, (maybe no sub pre out even)right...
(you should put sensible useful specification details up,
what it can/cant decode, etc if your selling home theatre kit!) |

Yep... has a sub pre-out.
You telling me you're going to run 7.1 speakers here in Korea? Ha... good luck finding a room big enough for all of that. Most people who have 7.1 receivers never bother to use all eight channels anyway. Even with my new 7.1 receiver, I'm not bothering to run more than 5.1. Why do I need it in a room that's only 10'x12'?
I'll tell you it will decode DTS and Dolby Digital. It doesn't have HDMI, so it won't decode the new lossless DTS-MA via HDMI, which is only on High Definition discs anyway. It does, however, have 5.1 inputs so you could run from a blu-ray standalone player that has 5.1 outs and get the DTS-MA tracks if the blu-ray player you buy decodes them.
HDMI is the first big change to come along in home theater receivers in many years, so the last eight years of receivers haven't changed much. And since this unit has the 5.1 inputs, you can still enjoy lossless High Definition audio if your Blu-ray player decodes internally and has 5.1 channel outs. Some models of blu-ray players do this -- others (PS3) don't. |

An 8 year old receiver with no sub pre/out? That is very unlikely. I can clearly see the sub/out port on the back. Without even doing any research on the model, it is also obvious by looking at the front of it that it decodes both Dolby Digital and DTS. I assume that it has limited optical inputs however (1 maybe?) and doesn't appear to have component outs other than standard rcas. It was a good receiver back in that day for sure. |
