So I downloaded some Seinfeld episodes from Kazaa but the video is not working. The audio works fine but no picture. Any suggestions. I downloaded some Simpsons and they work fine but no Seinfeld. Are there any settings or anything like that I can change to get the video to come in.

you probably need a divx player. (different codec or something).

You haven't got the right codecs installed (probably Divx). Get the codec pack from http://doa2.host.sk (and use Kazaa Lite from there rather than Kazaa itself for more functionality and no spyware), install it, and you'll be golden.

thanks a lot, problem solved. So if I want to download k-lite will I lose any of the files I have downloaded up to now? Will k-lite just overwrite Kazaa? Do I hav to unistall Kazaa?

Uninstall Kazaa, run a spyware cleaner (I recommend lavasoft's ad-aware, but spyware search&destroy is good too), install Kazaa lite and point it at your old download folder (where the .dat files are), and it'll pick up your partial downloads, no probs.

Som eof the video I have downloaded is really good quality. The picture is as clear as on tv. Some video looks as though the camera man had Parkinsons. It is all shaky. Can anything be done.

i'd be willing to bet that there's nothing you can do about that. Generally, if you're having a problem getting the video and/or sound to work, it's a problem with a codec...but sometimes the video is just a lesser quality and there's nothing you can do about it. If your other ones work fine but this one doesn't there's nothing you can do.

not really, its the quality of the file you downloaded. If its a small file size (say 100K for a 30 minute episode) then its going to be not so great. If the file is say 250K it should be fairly decent.

kazaa is evil ... EVIL!

uninstall it ... i guarantee your computer is infected with spyware or malware.

limewire is better (although bloated), soulseek is decent, torrents are the best.
