It still has KBS and MBC and the like, but you just watch the shows that you want to watch. There is no real-time broadcasting that I know of (except maybe the home shopping component). You can switch you TV back to your original cable by pressing you "Video" (input change) button.

Much of the stuff is in SD, but there is a good amount in HD. Many of the documentaries and some of the movies are in HD. I've been watching some docu's on Egypt. Really nice.

I've noticed that you can also check the weather, check the news headlines, watch news clips and read any of the Korean newspapers online. I *think* you can surf Naver, but I'm not sure.

That is awesome! See if you can try before you buy first. I've got the MegaTV for a 6 month free trial. If you get any more details on that PS3 deal let us know!

I have a KT building, so I'm going to get my internet through them, but I'm looking for cable and they talked about MegapassTV I believe, and it sounded interesting enough, but does anyone know if they get American Sports? I know SBS Sports broadcast basketball and the Super Bowl, so I'd hope I'd be able to get it from KT.

Also, what is the foreigner number for KT? I found this number:

English service directoy assistance
080-211-0114 (toll free)

That looks a lot like what I need, so I called it, a woman answered, and it's not even a KT number! It's just some woman!
