UGLY TEACHERS NEEDED!!!

Posted By: ESL PLANET <[email protected]>
Date: Monday, 21 April 2008, at 1:13 p.m.

Too much emphasis is placed on looks in Korea!
Every school wants us to find supermodels to teach their English programs.
We just want to find eligible applicants without too much emotional baggage.
For Public schools in Korea, they look for normal people and you just need to be eligible.
So come on down Ugly Teachers!!!!

YOU MUST:
* be from an ENGLISH SPEAKING country
* be between 21 and 54 years old
* hold a university Bachelor's degree
* be of good health
* have a clean criminal record

So if you have ALL the above going for you and would like to work as an ESL teacher for the South Korean Government, send your resume over to us.
We do not care if you hit every single branch falling out of the UGLY tree.
You just have to be eligible.
We do not care if your closeups have been compared to a baboon's backside!
You just have to be eligible.
We do not care if a night stand would rather chew their own arm than wake you up in the morning!
You just have to be eligible!!
We do not care if at birth, the doctor slapped your mother!
You just have to be eligible!!

If you are interested in the jobs and working with bloody ugly recruiters, send us a resume!

LOL. Is it a government regulation for some programme that you can't be over 54? I know of one PS teacher in my district who's pushing 60.

Wait, so if I'm not ugly do I still qualify? After reading the ad, I'm not entirely sure.

Maybe they're changing the visa regs again.

Will it make much of a difference though? That's a question.

I like this one.

We don't care about looks. We want to read your resume.
We don't want prom queens. We want teachers who can work well with others.
We don't want rock stars. We want teachers who can finish a contract.

So get rid of the latex, put the mirror down, lose the pouting stare and start updating your resume!

Some recent applicants:

Hugh Grant - Criminal record. Is not eligible.
Brad Pitt - No university degree. Is not eligible.
Robert Downey Jnr - Drug problem. Is not eligible.
Beavis and ButtHead - Non English Speakers. Are not eligible.
Britney Spears - All of the above. Is not eligible.

I remember reading an advertisement a few years ago for attractive Western women to teach English to Korean businessman. I guess this is the Bizarro version of that.
