CNN viewers in Korea probably remember this guy. Bloody irritating. I hated the way he said "china", like "chi-ner".

I find most cable news personalities bloody irritating, of whatever network. Not suprising to see such an arrest, either.

Actually, I quite like Quest's style. Wonder if CNN will fire him over this. I doubt it.

I've actually met him (and in NYC). Did so back in 2002. I think he was at the BBC at the time, but can't remember.

A very decent individual whose positivity and enthusiasm is an inspiration. Very sorry to hear the news. The appeal of methamphetimine is a mystery to me.

I thought he is pretty good at what he does, but found his hyper style somewhat over the top. Maybe if he gets off speed he'll dial it down a bit.

No mention about the rope round his neck and balls or the sex toy shoved in his boots. Was that made up?

His meth habit explains a lot about his "high energy" personality. Meth is rampant in all walks of life, and now that includes CNN personalities.

He must be feeling like a bag or arse at the moment. Not nice come down without a full bag a greenery. Poor guy.

I think the real story is the ten tier justice system in the U.S. Quest got a slap on the wrist for getting caught with a bag of Crystal in his pocket. Why does he get let off so easily when a black person or hispanic person would be locked up for the same thing?

Obviously, it's best for society to let him get back to work, whereas it's best for society to lock away the blacks and hispanics.

Yeah, he's a gentleman who works for CNN

He's not a border hopping job thief or a handout grabbing gang banger

I would like to see some more details to this one. It sounds like the substance may have been something else. Only that it was "something believed to be" meth.

I've known people on meth. It's very popular back where I'm from. It's not a casual drug that people can take once and a while and just live with. It seriously messes people up, and it literally shows on their faces. Most end up suffering from serious bouts of paranoia and screwing their windows/doors shut. My neighbor put screws every 6 inches all the way around her windows and doors (save the front door, which she had 3 deadbolts on). She had two security systems, and three motion detectors in the livingroom alone (we're talking a small 14'x12' room).

If he really is addicted to Meth, he won't be able to keep his job long, purely because his performance will suffer.
