I've always gotten internet service from the cable company, which has been fast enough for me. Lately, however, they seem to have overloaded the number of people on the service since the local Uni, which had free wifi in the area, locked-out everyone without a passcode. This means that day speeds are average, but evening speeds slow to a crawl.
Complaints to the cable company are worthless. The wife called today, and they want to come out to test. This will do no good, as they only test in the daytime, which is when it runs within spec and pronounce that there is no problem. In short, I told her to tell them not to waste our time, and we'll be hunting for something better.
Anyone have any suggestions? What are prices for 100mb? |

Just got 100M from Hanaro last week. Costs 35,000 a month, which is cheaper than the cable internet I had before!!! Not sure what I was doing last year when I ordered that cable package... |

Well, we've been on cable plus internet for under 40,000. The internet has been 4 instead of 10 or 100, but still, there should be plenty of headroom for regular surfing. There isn't at night. |
