I'm in Seoul and getting a new job and have my original diploma with me. Where can I go and get it stamped for the Visa Issuance process ? I do not want a future employer to take it to do that and want to get the certified copy/stamped deal myself here ... but not sure where to do it. Anyone know ?
Thanks |

I had to get a pile of copies of docs certified for my recent Uni applications. I went to the Australian Embassy's education department (it's in the Kyobo building, Ganghwamun) and got about 30 copies certified for 500 won each.
Don't go to the actual embassy as they will charge you 24,000 won per copy! Argh!
I'd tried a police station, a chemist, a doctor... but nobody was willing to help me. |

No, sorry, I'm talking about the Korean Consul stamp. Just as I had done when I was still in the US. I went to the Korean Consul and had them put the Korean Stamp thing on it for my Visa Process ... not an issue of notarizing a copy of my official/original diploma. |
