Yes!! Me too... YBM Pine division in Kangnam... International Academy... For all you haters, I already did a search but couldn't find anything on this particular school, and after doing my research have read that each school and division is different. |

If you want to work hard, go to YBM - any branch. You will become a cog in the most famous McEnglish in Korea, you will paid on time but not exceptionally well and you will be glad when your year finishes. You probably won't re-sign.
It's a good first year if you are prepared to work for it and to put up with all the politics involved, but I personally would keep looking. Albeit a famous name doesn't automatically mean it is going to be great job.
Wonderland, YBM - ECC, Jongno M School and any other major franchises are all well established and any grievances you have will have been had a thousand times before, and, like them, yours will be brushed under the carpet and ignored. |

PM me too if you have any info. I worked for Daechi Youngdo before, so I know the area and (call me crazy) really don't mind working for a chain hagwon again. I had an interview with the principal (Linda?) for PSA tonight, so if anyone is working for PSA, let me know. I'd really like to get some more info. |

Yeah, YBM will work you to death. They are Korea's #1 English chain of schools. There is ECC for children and Sisa for adults. You won't ever have to worry about being paid on time, but they will make you work for that money--and how! |

Having said that, it does rather depend on which Gaepo the school is in, as there are several areas with the same sounding name. Check this on a map..... |
