Also:
To transfer title, buyer/seller either go to the DMV/Gu office together,
or, if the buyer is from another city and needs to transfer it alone
Seller gives buyer:
a) a seal certificate (ingam jeung myeing seo)
b) power of attorney (wee im jang) stamped with same seal/chop
c) bill of sale, also stamped with same seal/chop
All these forms you can get at your local Gu office. You'llprolly have to get a seal stamp/chop made first since most expats don't have one. Cheap ones cost 5,000 and usually there'll be a shop next to the Gu office where you can have it made. |
