| Just wondering who had the largest time gap between teaching gigs here in the rok. Mine was 4 years. I left in 99 and came back in 03. I came back because i was bored at my job in Canada and actually missed Korea a bit. sad isn't it? |

| We were gone about 3 years and came back in February....I wouldn't say we "missed" Korea, but we realized after teaching in a couple other places that we really are financially compensated for the weirdness of this place....that being said, we're really happy to be back and are definitely looking at Korea with different eyes now. Although coming as a couple certainly makes it easier to live here, you generally get a decent sized place and can kind of build a buffer zone to keep Korea out when you want a break. |
