Honestly looking on the internet is the best place. My partner tried to find a nice western one (the korean ones tend to be very ugly) and we looked all through Daegu and Busan....the ones on the internet were definately alot better, and cheap.

I went bathing suit shopping with my girlfriend in January before our tropical vacation.

The basement of Doota has a lot of imported brands of clothes and a store specifically for women's suits.

In Namdaemun, the alley/street behind the camping stores had a couple bathing suit places.

I don't know about facilities for trying them on, they might have dressing rooms, they might not, my girl knew her size.

I went to Doota and they have TONS of bathing suits...but they are hideous. Big bows and ruffles, gaudy patterns (big cherries, hearts, etc)...they honestly look like bikinis I wore when I was 5 except they have an inch of padding in the top. Most either have string bottoms or ruffled skirts--no other choices. AND--not only that--most were around 70-80,000 won.

How hard can it be to find a NON-crazily padded, sleek black bikini?!??!!

I don't know if they deliver to Korea, but Victoria Secret has really cute bikinis for pretty cheap. Check out their website. They're a good fit but they run a little bit big though. So if you're normally a medium you should buy a small. And if you're normally a small buy an xtra small.

^ VS is cheap now? I remember browsing their catalogue a year or so back and remembered each piece being around $40-60...? All the ones I liked were about $80-90 for both pieces.

I think I'll always be a bit bitter, considering my favorite bikini I got for $10 at H&M.

Well Victoria Secret has both cheap and expensive suits. They have a really cute basic triangle bikini for only $19. That includes the top and bottom. That's cheap enough for me!

JCPenney's will deliver here and you might have more luck finding a reasonably priced suit.

Victoria's Secret does indeed deliver to Korea. I ordered two swimsuits from there last year and they got here with no problem.

I'm talking in the basement, lowest basement, 2nd floor down basement. I'm talking slender, no frills bikinis being sold in January, not the conservative-style shit being pawned off as fashion in Korea we usually see.

Fast delivery and not too expensive. I've been ordering swimwear and undergarments from them for the past 4 years here. My first choice by far!
