I see most appts have a washer..
I don't see much being mentioned about dryers.
which brings the obvious question - how the hell do you dry your clothes?
(I'm familiar with the old school way, but don't think I can put up a string in my little appt and hang them off there, or outside for that matter, since I think I'll live in a "complex" of sorts. |

I'd string mine up everywhere--dorknobs, backs of chairs etc. It eventually dried. |

When I was in a smaller apartment I'd do regular, small loads of washing - hang it up on one of those collapsing A-frame racks when I went to bed - and clothes would generally be dry by morning.
The key is not to let the dirty laundry mount up so you have to drape it everywhere and anywhere. |

yeah, your school definitely should provide a drying rack - they come in all sizes and can be a bit pricey - 40,000 for a larger one. |

In winter I spread it on the floor, the ondal dries it.
When the ondol is off I use a drying rack.

You aren't going to have a clothes dryer like you have in Chicago. You can buy one of course, but your drying options without one are going to be of the hang and dry method that you mentioned before. |

Use a clothing rack and a fan. Don't overload the rack or it will take forever to dry your clothes. |

I have a washer/ dryer combo! As long as you do not put x-large loads in the machine, the clothes dry quite quickly...big help when you need something fast!!! |

not a big issue, I can easily dry clothes the "old school" way..
but it's apparent I will not be able to follow my usual (wait till almost everything you have is dirty before washing it ritual, where you wash a big load of clothes, say every 2 weeks, etc) |

I have a washer/dryer. Before that I used a rack or just spread wet clothes on the floor. |
