Or rather... BRAVO!!
Lately I've noticed Korean kids and adults alike saying this. Anyone else notice this/know where it originated? I'm assuming some tv show or somesuch.
My elementary students use it sarcastically when someone makes a mistake as well as using it when someone gets an answer right or does well on a test.
Last night I was eating dinner with some friends on a patio and we had a bottle of soju and this drunken mid-twenties korean guy says, "You likee the soju? Oh! Bravo!"

| I've not heard Bravo - but I hear 'nice shot' a lot - usually if throwing a ball at a student to catch, or vice versa. |

*points to the above quote* This is most likely where it comes from. Not sure how long it's been around, but it was a slogan back in the fall of '05 when I got here. Kids were using it back then, as well as the "nice shot" mentioned above. |

... I laughed when i heard one kid start singing "dragostea din tei" ...
At least it's not all from English! |
