Hello there.
I am still in the U.S.A., and will be in Korea next month. I do not know how you all are downloading movies. I can not seem to do it. Will I have to wait to come to Korea, or can I download from here?
Thank you. |

You need software like utorrent:
http://www.utorrent.com/
and a tracker like pirate bay:

fill your boots. |

Check your ports if you're behind a firewall or router to get max speed. |

Thank you all for your help. It is easy. I am just afraid I will get a virus. If I get a virus I guess it is not a big deal because I do have back up disks. |

Back up on what? DVDs? hard disk?
You don't have to back up everything if you are using Windows.
Applications can always be installed again, just backup your document folders , usually "c:/Documents and Settings/(your name)/*.*"
As for downloading utorrent is pretty popular. I had it running off my usb drive visiting PC bangs. |

And download a nice free antivirus program. I suggest Avira Antivir Personal:
http://www.free-av.com/
Some others include AVG and Avast. |

you can't get viruses from movies, music or photo files. these file types are non executable.
viruses can be hidden in zip files and exe files. avoid downloading software and you'll be safe. |

If you do download software, it's wise to check the comments on the files before you download them. People will complain if they're virused. |

While scanning, a box popped up and asked if I wanted to "move to quarantine" or "delete". I hit "delete". Is that wrong? Why would I want to quarantine and not delete?
thanks. |

They are effectively the same thing. Quarantine moves the file to a safe location where the system doesn't have access to it.
Typically when downloading software, the "keygen"s and "crack"s are the suspects. Most torrents that contain a virus are commented on...you have to pay heed to those comments. If there are no comments, then you are on your own.
Welcome to the world of P2P. You will get better at knowing which files have a high likelihood of being problems, but in the meantime, be sure you have a good, up-to-date AV program running. |

Yes, but more often than not...false positives. |
