If you have big feet, bring shoes.
Everything else I wanted I have found here. Well, I bought a laptop with an English operating system, not sure how easy they are to find.

It's been a lot of years since I first packed for Korea and a lot since I left, but at the time the two things to top the list of things to bring were deodorant and tampons - like cigarettes in prison, they were

PS: Sorry OP if you're not of the tampon-using gender, that's the best I've got |

Most Korean women have small, well, are small around the, well, hip area. If you are not you will might have some problems.

If you're headed to a rural area, you'd do well to bring a pretty full wardrobe. It might be awhile before you're comfortable enough getting out to where you can buy clothes. |

If you are in Seoul, you can find pretty much everything, including clothing...even bras are not too difficult to find if you are of the smaller size! Deodorant is the main thing you should pack...and bring a lot! |

The appropriate connectors/power adapters for any electronics. Contact information for someone in Korea in case there's no one there to pick you up. Feminine products. If you're outside the city you won't find anything your size. |

Bring a smile... many foreigners forget that at home. |

In Seoul they are easy to get, but it might be worth bringing one to tide you over until you work out how to get around.

bring some jeans, as they might be difficult to find in size 12.
bring a pillow and a small blanket if you have any extra room, i did and it made me feel at home.
as for toiletry items you can find everything here, including deodorant and tampons- the pharmacy/beauty store olive young carries everything you'll need. |

I'm packing this week.
If anything, I'm overpacking. If I have to pay for overweight luggage, ask me if I care.
I have zero confidence (at this point) in finding clothes/shoes that I'll like and would fit in Korea, so I'm going to ensure I have what I need.
I never use lists.. but I may use one this time.... just to check things off as I put them into the luggage. |

Something I wish I brought is more vitamins and supplements. I take a lot of them (I was going to a naturopath back in Toronto). You can find vitamins here, of course, but I doubt the stuff I buy at Emart/Homever is of the same quality as the stuff I was buying in Canada, plus I can't read the labels. |
