What's the highest salary you've ever heard of an ESL teacher making here? Legally, I mean, without privates. Just curious.

That's easy, many public school teachers can make that with OT.

My one friend makes about 8-9 million a month. He doesn't work one single full-time job, just lots of different jobs.

The most I know from a single full-time job was about 5.5 million.

Most in one month from one legal job is a bit over 5 million (just counting what I personally know, not people bragging online).

A single job, 4.7.

Many jobs, around 8.2.

That's interesting. Do you mean working as many jobs you can fit into 16 hours a day/six days a week?

Or, just a ton of jobs that offer high pay for only a few/several hours a week/month? (Presumably without the insane hours.)

My friend at the time was working 6 days a week. He had 2 TV shows and a radio show (no, not Isaac, he makes more, but I don't know him personally.) He also did a few corporate classes. I know he is working less these days so likely not making as much, but I don't know for sure.

There are some full-time teaching jobs that pay 100K+ Won an hour, like the Ivy League College Prep program at my school. I believe those teachers teach about 20 hours a week, so they make between 8 and 9 million a month. Lucky them.

F2 holder in my city makes 5.5 plus housing plus airfare He works 7/ 40 minute periods a day with 2 hours between blocks. It's actually two after school programs at elementary schools, but the one he works for 4 hours a day gives him the benefits.

I actually asked this question in the job-discussion forum a while ago. Then I visited Korea last month and talked to some natives. They told me that 250,000 per hour is what a "superstar" tutor can expect to earn. This was told to me by different independent sources. I was also told that these tutors make up less than 1% of the top end, so they are somewhat of a rarity.
