Ive been offered 2.7 - 3 mil. How does this sound?

Thank you.

Is this the job you are referring to?

We are having several English education businesses with public schools and other English business organizations. Currently we are looking for some native teachers in a summer camp from late July. This position is only available for 20days. There are below job details,
Working days : From 28 of July to 16 of August(FOR 20DAYS)
Working hours : From 9:00AM TO 6:00PM
Students ages : 8years to 14years(Elementary school students)
Class number : 5~6 class per a day(with GAME and Music)
Salary : 2.0~2.5M (Negotiable)
AN EATING AND ACCOMODATION OFFERED.
This positions are a short term positions so we prefer native teachers who already live in Korea.

If you are qualified and willing to know more informations, Please send your formal resume and a recent photo to Edwin. The email address is [email protected] and a cell phone number is 016-706-8541. Looking forward to hearing soon.

Be careful.. they say 20 days. The wording is a bit tricky. And it doesn't mention any days off. If they give you weekends off then 2.5 mil for 3 weeks isnt too bad. Although a 9 - 6pm camp at 1 mil per week is better if you can find them.

If they want you to work 20 straight days without any days off then 2.5 isnt not worth it. I would tell them 3mil at the very least.

Also ask them if the teachers are free after 6pm. A lot of these camps are notorious for getting teachers to take part in evening "activites" even though its not outlined in their advertisement.

Just a word to the wise!!

Good luck Smile

I reckon that means 1 month camp.

I did one last summer for 3mil. It was a 4 week camp, 6 days a week. If you are coming over just for a camp, I guess it is okay. Also they provided me with a small room near the school as I didn't want to commute everyday. So I guess if you have your own place, ask for more than 3mil.

There are some decent camps out there that pay 1mil a week. I suggest you try to find one of those. They do go fast though.
