We've all heard the news, taken it in. In case you've been living on the moon, an Austrian psychopath has been arrested for (and confessed to) the following:
1. Man fathers daughter
2. Man uses said daughter as sex slave, imprisons her for 24 years (apparently she never saw daylight), raping and beating her regularly
3. Man fathers 7 children with said daughter
It'd make a great Heavy Metal song, that's for shizzle.
Sometimes, crimes are so unbelievably heinous, people so unbelievably mentally ill, that their crimes are almost theater. This crime is an art masterpiece.
Hopefully this thread will serve as a general discussion thread for this case - links, developments, etc, because it's been poorly discussed thus far. |

| Here's a nice summary of the sordid facts. In any case, full marks for originality. Mere murder, torture, rape are too boring for Josef Fritzl. All been done before. Let's have several kids with own daughter, the latter a sex slave who'd never seen daylight until the last week (fact). The thing is, Josef, why didn't you sprinkle some cannibalism into the mixture also for good measure? |

Don't you read your own links? Elizabeth is 42 now which would mean she was 18 before her 24-year imprisonment began, altho I read in another account that she "ran away" from home at the age of 11. In either event, she did see daylight but three of her kids hadn't. Also, she knew how to write (which is how she got herself out). |
