Option A)
Meat and potatoe pie with chips and gravy.

or

Option B)
Lamb Vindaloo, Brinjal Bhaji, Saag Paneer and a Garlic Naan.

Either A or B washed down with a decent pint of Guinness.

Very Happy

Omigod! Shocked You just described the perfect meal! Damn nicely done!

Would you consider Gulab Jamun to wrap it up?

I could go for that. But I always liked pistachio Kulfi. Though my favourite Curry place had a "Funky Pie".

I could commit genocide for a good curry.

I'm sure I'll think of more. Those are just my two obsessions right now.

You usually have people watching you take a bath? Do you have a big iron bathtub out in the garden or something?

Aaaahhhh....thanks for the heads up. I have a bath so haven't done the sauna thing - forgot that the range of bathroom fittings here is wide & varied.

It's Friday, I want to spend the evening in a beer garden somewhere out in the countryside. Starting with a Shandy and then moving onto proper beer. Nipping into the decent local Ruby before heading back to the pub for darts and pool, possibly a quiz.

A good Chicken Jalfrezi, with Keema Nan.

or

A cornish pastie

or

A jumbo sausage roll

or

Giant Yorkshire pudding with real sausages, mashed potato gravy and mushy peas from the Pie 'n' Mash shop.

Shit, I'm starving. I missed lunch today. Still, at least it's Friday - I just about reached the end of my rope with these brats this afternoon. Thank *beep* it's over.

Anyone got a real dartboard?

Can't believe elementary kids are allowed to brandish slashyourface blades, but you have to play darts with magnets Rolling Eyes .

: Any chance of posting the recipe? Would really like to do good thick batter.

Planning on heading back to the Outer Hebrides for 4.5 weeks in the summer,
and survive on breakfasts of black pudding and dinner/tea of fish suppers. Expect a thread about weight loss programs in September. Embarassed

Damm what a tease this thread is, like food porn.

Maybe I'll get some Indian grub tomorrow. It's been a while.
