Just curious if anyone with a mac is running Hangul 2006 for Mac or if you all use a Parallel or bootcamp + the Win version?
If you do have it, did you buy it or bootleg it?
If you bought it how much was it?
If you bootlegged it, is it easy to get such a copy? |

Heya mate,
I'm running Hansoft 2006 for mac. I managed to find it for sale in the apple shop in COEX for about W28,000.
Having said that, its not very good. Especially on intel macs its crash happy, and hasn't been updated since 2006 either. Its a PPC app, so runs under rosetta, prob part of why its a bit unstable.
But, it is good enough to open files, save them as PDF, convert to word etc etc etc. Just don't try doing any serious work on it.
I used to use the windows version under parallels, but since I got the mac one, it does what I want.
As for bootlegging, good luck. Its imposisble to find even references to it, let alone a download that works.
Good luck,

Thanks for the reply. I think tomorrow I'll be heading to COEX
I don't mind spending some money for it. I hate the program, but my wife needs it and well she did buy the mac |

Wow! That's awesome! Maybe on my next trip to Seoul, or do you think some of the smaller "Mac shops" might have it or be able to get it? |

I went to coex...174,000 for that program now. How the hell can companies justify selling it for 30,000 and then 174,000. I mean that is more than 50% off the list price. It makes me sick.
My wife said they had it for 30k when she bought the mac book but she didn't know if that was a good price or not. Well, whatever, we won't be using hwp on the mac I guess. |
