one of my students has a pirated copied of windows, ok if you dont want to help becuase of this fact then dont..
if I download a xp genuine license from the net will that let me download it?
anyone got any help..? |

| I don't understand the problem> all you need is a keygen and vga. It's not like xp is protected beyond that. |

a service pack 2 ken gen? what is VGA?
the serial we have now, doesnt let us install sp2 from microsoft.. |

There are a number of different versions of xp. The most common installed one is corporate, but you might have home or another version. Whatever you have, make sure that you have the right crack.
If you use torrents, go to: http://isohunt.com/torrents/?ihq=xp+genuine+advantage and download one of the cracks. There should be a text document that gives you specific directions for the crack you've downloaded. If one crack doesn't work download a different one (there are quite a few that don't work) -- with a little persistence you'll find a working crack.
Make sure you don't have anything important saved on your computer when you do this. Not that I've ever seen one of these wipe off a hard drive, but with the cyberpunks around nowadays it's always a possibility. |

Have to agree with on this one. Why mess around with cracks when a student edition installs easy as pie and never have to worry about cracking and re-cracking... |
