According to the school that hired me, I need to get a "certified criminal records check". I went all over the county and city admin offices - no one had ever heard of the check being "certified", but perhaps they meant notarized? Once I get all of that done, THEN I may sent it to the Apostille.
Essentially, is there a difference between "certified" and "notarized" as far as contract language goes? BTW, this is in the US. I would talk to the school, but most everyone is asleep over there right now Smile
Thanks!

Thanks for the reply
Unfortunately, well....the similey says it all: Shocked
I hate to admit it, but I'm going to get my school to 'hold my hand' nice and slow through this process so that I don't get frustrated.
Now I know what people were talking about when it was said that it is hard to get people over because of the paperwork.

Good luck with that. Most schools don't have a clue about the process.
