I have been called a dirty foreigner. One of my least favorite girls occasionally points at me and says "metamorphose" which I am pretty sure is supposed to mean that I got a sex change at some point. And finally today, the head teacher (korean) called me a "strange Aryan monster."

what about you?

Someone once said to me, "Your accent sound like U.S.A person, right?", I was pretty offended.

I was called a 'shipsaekki' by a drunk fool. I thought it was funny, so I laughed and told the chooch (in Korean) 'Yeah, you're right."

His head nearly exploded.

I was called a white *beep* by a student once.

Wait, that was in Atlanta.

Well, technically, he was right, as I suspect that you (like many of us) are in fact offspring (saekki) of a vagina (ship, as in shibbal), correct?

The most heartfelt, angry thing I've ever heard in English from a Korean was from a man who believed I needed to hand over my provincial teaching certificate, while I was insisting that it was enough to show it to him. He wailed "You bother me!" and stormed off.

The most horrible thing I've heard in Korean was from a freaky adjosshi on the bus. It was my last night with a good friend, and he was staring at us. We tried to ignore him, and continued our happy chatter. He finally tried to butt into the conversation by poking the friend and demanding "Odi??" and I politely told him we didn't wish to chat. He called me every swear I know, and probably some I haven't. He also said that if we didn't want to speak to him, then we weren't to speak at all, and tried to drown out our conversation with his abuse.

Exactly, that's why I agreed with him. Very Happy

I just found out what that means.. never working, just playing kind of bum.
Awesome. I'm going to use it the next time someone isn't doing their job.

Sorry to hijack the thread, but has anyone ever heard of Koreans replying to other Koreans, 'ilbon sekkiya'? (Japanese bastard?)

I'd be a little careful calling someone 'nom'-anything. Like if a lazy co-worker wasn't doing something and you said that, I think it could make for some bad blood between you two (at the least), unless maybe you're good friends.
