Does anyone know of any bars with a nice outdoor patio? I'd like to find a place to drink outdoors aside from Family Mart. It would be nice to enjoy a few drinks and soak up this beautiful Corean spring weather. |

Different building, but right down the road. Nashville's rooftop isn't bad.
In HongDae, there is 'SHOOTERS', near exit 5, with a street level patio.
In Itaewon, there are a few pubs now open along the alley behind the Hamilton Hotel with outside seating and/or fully open fronts. |

Go to Haywha in Northern Seoul. They're all over the place. There's also an outdoor Phillipino market every Sunday where they serve Phillipino food and San Megel |

I know a great place but I'm not saying where it is...I can't have it overrun with more people. Every place I go to has too many people as it is. |

Bars with a nice outdoor Patio!!! Are you totally INSANE.
If people sit outside they'll be exposed to the sun's rays, they'll shrivel up like prunes and die. Do what the locals do. On a nice sunny day, head for a bar in a dark basement. The darker the better.
While you're at it go out and buy yourself a huge sun visor. |

One of the above posters mentioned a Pinoy outdoor market in Hyewha....can you give a little more info? Subway exit number? A landmark? A shop or restaurant that it's near?
There are a few Pinoy places I know, but they're in crowded, noisy areas; Hyewha is a groovy place to sit outdoors and enjoy the street scenes. Directions would be greatly appreciated. |
