Well, I don't how much folks have kept up with the hockey games. But..........this Ave's / Wings series is phucking awful...if you are an Ave's fan.
Yes, I know the coaches simply did not want to start up "THE Rivalry". But, after the Ave's lost their first two games, they should have started it back up. They are being walked on, shat on, spit on and man handled by the Wings.
I don't know what is going throuigh coach Q's mind. What they heck is he thinking by plahing it soft?!
That team in Colorado seems scared..bummer for them. |

| Yeah, it's disappointing even as a Wings fan. I'm happy to be winning, but I was hoping for a little more excitement. Nothing like watching Roy drop the gloves with Vernon, then Osgood the very next year. Those were some games. |

True.
BUT......Detroit was clearly more prepared and more confident when the series started. Colorado just have not risen to the occasion..as of yet. There is 1 period left. But, the odds are not i n their favor.
But, again....I think that after those first two losses, Colorado should have really had a wake up call, get it together.....and just start it back up. It was on Detroits mind as well.
Oh well...only a game. Things happpen. They are all good players...but, Detroit just had it locked down on Colorado from the beginning.
It seems Detroit is dead set on making it to the cup this year. They could very well win it all....they are THAT good. BUT.,.................
.........hopefully, they will face my Dallas Stars in the Western Conferance Finals.

Mmmmm....
..I will say in Colorado's defense, though............they REALLY had some problems with injuries. They have not been able to have their FULL line up in the playoff for little or no time at all.
Next year, perhaps.

First off: Aves (x) Avs (o)
I was able to watch the 3rd period.. by then it was a a given they were advancing, but it's brilliant to see Franzen emerging a a threat.. 9 goals in a four game series? INSANE!!
Now top checking lines won't be sent out just for Zetterberg and Datsyuk..
Bring on the Stars!! |
