You should know by now that any item in the buy and sell forum is worth more than the buyer paid for it

... as fast as other PC hardware does.

Similar computers on craiglist in the states are selling second hand for $1800US

Considering that apple hardware is more expensive in Korea to begin with I don't think what I'm asking for is an unreasonable starting point..

Newly posted speed tests show that the newest top-end iMac is only a little faster than the one here for sale, unless you play computer games... (see Macworld and MacRumors)

I think the price asked is quite reasonable.

ps: I have the 24" iMac white 2.16--it's a fantastic unit. Really fast, and with a 19" monitor on the side I have incredible real estate.

Isn't 1,850,000KRW about what a new one would cost with the education discount?

Hey, you're right.
I just checked: W1,942,000 for a 2.8GHz with 500 GB drive and 2 GB RAM.

Education discount? Please elaborate. I just bought a Macbook. Am I entitled to a discount for being an educator?
