Hi,
When July summer vacation comes I want to go somewhere on the coast.
Most of the stuff in my Seoul guidebook is about the west coast, but I've heard the east coast is more beautiful. From a lot of the descriptions it sounds like the west coast has a lot of mud flats but I'm after sandy beaches, really.
Basically I'm looking for nice beaches to lay on, beautiful oceans to swim in, good sea food, and somewhere fairly peaceful and not too crowded (if that's possible on summer vacation). Or am I better off leaving Korea???? |

| Kyungpodae and Sok-cho are really nice. I've had tons of fun on those beaches. Both are a 2.5-3 hour bus ride from the East Seoul Bus Terminal. |

Sockcho and Soraksan, not too far from Seoul, worth the visit. Here are some pics from last summer. Check it out, really beautiful place.
