lesbians don't wear crocs. they were birkenstocks. 4 year old children and special ed kids wear crocs because they're easy to clean off and don't have laces. they're like velcro shoes for those too dumb to figure out velcro.

i met a girl wearing mary janes that were made out of croc-like material. those, i would wear. but no matter how confortable and practical they are, i will never ever ever wear crocs.

that all said, wear what you want. i don't care and neither sould anyone else.

i honest to god have never seen crocs on lesbians. only soccer moms on their way to get lattes, preschool children, and people gardening. only the last two are remotely acceptable in my world.

but it is quite amusing to think of my 300 lb mega butch lesbian friend back home sporting hot pink crocs...

the first people to wear crocs were long-distance hikers (think AT thru-hikers) who wanted a camp shoe that was comfortable, but ultra-lightweight for when they carry it. that the sheeple were repulsed by them was of no consequence

I noticed that trend a year or so ago, but apparently they're being banned by hospitals these days:

Quote:
An increasing number of hospitals and health centres are moving toward banning Crocs and Crocs knock-offs from their facilities for fear the shoes have endangered both patients and staff. The main offenders appear to be the popular Beach and Cayman models, which have holes on top, side vents and a back strap rather than a closed heel. They allegedly have been responsible for infection control hazards because bodily fluids such as blood have spilled into the holes. Staff have reportedly twisted ankles because of the open back. And staff reaction times are said to be compromised because it's suspected that clogs are more difficult to run in than traditional hospital footwear. The most heinous charge against Crocs and similar shoes is that they act as "isolators," enabling enough static electricity to be generated to knock out medical equipment -- including respirators in maternity wards.

Yeah, I've always wondered about that. We weren't even allowed to wear anything that wasn't 100% closed when i worked at Starbucks becuase it was unsanitary and unsafe. Yet people are ok with blood, puke, and feces in their shoes?!?

Interesting. I'll ask my parents. Mom's a nurse, Stepdad is graduating with his AASN this month! Mom's at a fairly casual hospital...

Exactly what is a "casual hospital"...?

Doc: Give the patient some morphine.

Nurse: How much shall I administer?

Doc: Oh, enough should do it.

Actually, I think I'd kind of like to be a patient there...

It means that it's a very small hospital with few patients compared to the huge hospital with one of the area trauma centers that she worked at before. It means most nights she has time to study, read, and chat with her coworkers rather than running around and dealing with an overload of patients.

i'll say it again.

only lesbians wear crocs.

if you're a man, priest, nun, child or heterosexual woman and you're wearing crocs, you're still a big fist-fucking warlesbian.

not that there's anything wrong with lesbianism - lesbians are great - but like anything it has a stigma attached to it. and you've got lesbianism on your feet.

just thought i'd let you know.

lol My mother keeps sending me crocs as part of 'care packages'. Do you think she's trying to tell me she suspects something? Shocked
